Job description
Higher Level TAs required in the Sandwell, Wolverhampton, Walsall and Dudley areas. £60 - 70 per day
Are you a Higher Level TA (HLTA) that is based in the West Midlands? Protocol Education is recruiting for jobs in this area.
The jobs will require the applicants to cover the full range of duties of a teaching assistant but may have an increased level of responsibility. Some HLTA's are able to plan and teach lessons on their own with the support of teachers.
The successful applicant will have significant experience of working with Primary and Secondary aged pupils that have special educational needs. Protocol Education is working with a range of Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) and special schools in all of the above areas, teaching pupils with a range of difficulties and disabilities.
For this job it is essential you are able to deal with challenging situations in the classroom and can apply your skills effectively. This may include dealing with difficult behaviour of providing specialist care. Whatever your specialism, Protocol Education is happy to hear from you.
Protocol Education is interested in seeing applicants for both daily cover; and long term positions that may become permanent.
The ideal applicant for this role will have:
·The relevant qualifications ( which is in date)
·Have experience supporting pupils in a Primary or Secondary setting
·Has the ability to effectively deal with challenging situations
·Be available to work 5 days per week
