Job description
We are looking to appoint committed, energetic, and enthusiastic people to work as Higher Learning Teaching Assistants across the West London Borough of Hillingdon.

If you are looking to make the step up to Teaching and want to get a taster for some of the additional responsibilities or looking for a more challenging role where no two days will be the same, whatever the reason working as a HLTA is a great opportunity!

As a Higher Learning Teaching Assistant your role will involve planning, delivering and assessing learning to whole classes during teachers' PPA time, and occasionally covering for short term absence.
There will also be occasions when you will work under the direction of a class teacher to support quality-first teaching.
We have a variety of flexible working options as well as the potential for long term supply and permanent positions within schools.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or a strong recent graduate with experience of working within Primary schools who is looking to gain more skills and experience.

We are looking for people who have the drive, determination, and enthusiasm to enhance learning. You will need to have excellent organisational or communication skills and be a strong team player. If this sounds like the right role for you then please do get in touch to find out more.

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
