Job description
Health Care Assistants needed for childcare jobs

A Health care Assistant is required to work in a school in the London borough of Croydon This role will involve working one to one with a student with SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) and complex medical needs.

The school caters for children aged between 3-19 years with SLD and complex medical conditions, severe communication disorders, bi-modal sensory impairment and challenging behaviours.

Within this role, the Health care Assistant will be essentially working as a carer for the child who requires personal care, manual handling and one-to-one support throughout their educational journey.

You must be willing to undertake any personal care duties such as feeding and changing. The child has specific medical needs, so you may be required to undertake possible training for the role in order to conduct specific medical duties.

If you have Paediatric medical training OR come from a nursing/respite care background, this role would be ideal for you.
