Job description
Protocol Education requires a health care assistant to work in a school in the London Borough of Hackney. This role will involve working one to one with a pupil with SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) and complex medical needs.
The school caters for children aged between 3-19 years with SLD and complex medical conditions, sensory impairment, bi-modal sensory impairment and challenging behaviours.

For this role:
You must have experience working with Special Needs for this Health Care Assistant role and be willing to undertake any personal care duties such as feeding and changing. Most children will have specific medical needs, so you may be required to undertake training for the role in order to conduct specific medical duties.
If you have Paediatric medical training OR come from a nursing/respite care background, this role would be ideal for you.
