Job description
Health Care Assistants "Night shifts"
Can you make a difference? Do you like supporting children with special needs?
Health Care Assistants are required to support the nursing team with their duties that enable students with complex disabilities to engage with their normal day to day activities. This includes carrying out clinical interventions, recognising when a student becomes unwell and reporting to the registered nurses. Training in all the relevant skills will be provided.
There will also be an element of social care whereby you will be responsible for working alongside students in their bungalows and supporting the students in all aspects of daily living and school life, including personal care. 10 and 12 hour Night shifts are available! Shifts are flexible but will start at 7pm.
Experience of complex physical and medical needs is desirable along with a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, or support will be given to achieve this. If you're interested in this position please respond to this advert directly, email paul.cater@protocol-education.com or call 02084618900
