Job description
I am working with a school based in Northumberland who are looking for an experienced Health and Social Care Teacher to start in September.

The school are seeking an experienced H&SC Teacher who has taught both the GCSE and BTEC syllabus. The candidate must have good knowledge of the subject and an awareness of how to challenge pupils, ensuring all students make progress.

Essential requirements:
• A Qualified Teacher Status (either a PGCE or Cert Ed.)
• Very good knowledge of the British National Curriculum and the ability to plan differentiated work.
• A valid DBS on the Update Service or willing to undertake one.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Excellent teaching references.

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
