Head of Religious Studies Wanted

Are you a qualified Religious Studies Teacher who has experience of leading a department and is able to teach R.S. to teach Key Stage 3, 4and 5? Are you looking to secure a long term position as soon as possible?

This provider of education, located in Lichfield is looking to appoint a Head of R.S. for a long term position to cover Maternity Leave for the all of the 2017 2018 school year. They are looking for their Head of Religious Studies to start in September for a full time, 5 day a week role teaching Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 students.

You will require excellent subject knowledge and the ability to confidently lead a school department with efficiency and confidence prior leadership experience will be essential to this role as well as a demonstrably high quality of teaching ability.

You will be joining an high achieving school graded Excellent in 2016 will results well above the national average in an enviably beautiful school environment.

This school has an emphasis on quality teaching over behaviour management and expect high standard from staff and pupils alike.

This is a real opportunity to make a difference in the lives of pupils and to teach and lead a Religious Studies Department in a nurturing environment with students who really care about their education.
