Job description

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a Head of Religious Studies to work with a secondary school located in Epping, Essex

The ideal candidate will be professional, flexible and adaptable with the opportunity to work in a demanding and rewarding school. Our client school are looking for a dedicated and committed teacher who is able to teach Religious Studies to KS3 - KS5 students.

Position: Head of Religious Studies

Location: Epping, Essex

Start Date: January 2019

Salary: MPS/UPS

Contract: Full Time


We are looking for a candidate who: -

• Believes that every student, regardless of their background, can make outstanding progress.
• Strong leadership skills
• Ideally (although not essential) management experience
• Is rigorous, relentless, determined, creative and inspirational in their style and presence as a teacher.
• Utilises a variety of teaching methods to present engaging, thoughtful lessons.
• Is caring and has the drive and passion to continue to develop strong relationships and the wellbeing with staff, students, parents, governors and the local community.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team who truly aim to make a difference. Protocol Education are working with secondary schools throughout Essex and London who are looking to recruit permanent members of staff across the whole subject range.
