Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a hard-working, energetic and innovative Teacher of French and Spanish , who is looking to develop their career.

We are looking for an inspirational Leader and teacher who is keen to take on a HOD role and committed to bringing out the best in everyone involved with the MFL Department . The successful candidate must be able to teach at least one language to A level standard from French, German or Spanish, and at least two languages from these options at GCSE level.

The successful candidate will be a professional classroom practitioner, who will be able to create an engaging environment, which is conducive to learning in order to secure the progress of all students.

The post is due to start in October 2016 but, for the correct candidate this could be from September 2016. The job is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a current HOD looking for a new challenge or, someone who is looking to take on a HOD role for the first time.

All we ask is that you hold a UK recognised qualification.

We can obtain references from your previous employers and have or are able to undergo the processing of an enhanced DBS disclosure.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
