A good Teaching Assistant is someone who knows how to drive the focus for students towards achieving academically to the best of their ability. A good Teaching Assistant shows understanding, alongside asserting control of a classroom environment and always on the lookout for child protection and safeguarding issues.

We are looking for multiple Teaching Assistants for a Special Educational Needs school based in the Redbridge borough. This particular school is looking for dedicated staff to work with SEND students, across Key stage 1 5, supporting students with Autism and complex needs.

Working with SEND students is a rewarding job, you can positively impact a child life by assisting and teaching them personal skills and academic progression, and you will be working in much smaller class settings then that of a mainstream school, often working 1-2-1 with a particular student throughout the academic year.

This school is open to entry level Teaching Assistants with limited SEN experience but with an abundance of personal attributes, passionate, dedicated and hands on individuals! You will also have the opportunity to climb the career ladder within the school.
