Graduate Support Assistant – SEN School (Wallsend)

Contract: Full-time, Term Time

Got a degree and a passion for helping young people? This fantastic SEN school in Wallsend is looking for a Graduate Support Assistant to join their team.

You’ll be working with children who thrive on patience, positivity, and encouragement — supporting learning, communication, and emotional development through play, structure, and care.

The role includes:

  • 1:1 and small group support in class

  • Assisting with sensory and movement activities

  • Helping pupils build confidence and social skills

  • Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
