Job description
Cover Tutor required in Doncaster School

**Part time/full time positions
**September start

The governors, staff and students ata Doncaster based Secondary Academy are looking to appoint an outstanding and committed professional to join their vibrant, growing Through School.

Their aim is to provide an outstanding seamless education to students from 3 -16. The school and Protocol Education believe strongly in providing students with nothing less than the best provision in order to equip them for a successful future ahead.

As a Cover Tutor you will provide support and classroom cover to the school teaching staff across both the Secondary and Primary sites. You will supervise classes and ensure good behaviour and learning in the absence of a teacher. Although following lesson plans and using the work set by the class teacher you will also be required to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Further training and support in the role will be available although previous experience of working within a school environment would be an advantage. If you are a dynamic, charismatic individual who can enthuse a group of young people we would like to hear from you.

• Is an enthusiastic, self-motivated and caring person
• Has experience in a school environment working with children and relevant qualifications
• Has good literacy and numeracy skills

Your main roles and responsibilities will include:
• Covering lessons as and when required
• Supporting the teaching and learning within the setting

• Attending team meetings when required
