Job description
Graduate entry role in to Education

Are you looking to embark on a career in education?

Are you a graduate looking for some classroom based experience?

Then look no further.

Protocol Education are currently working with Primary Schools in the Leicester area who are in need of Classroom Supervisors for daily work on a full time and part time basis.

The main role of a Classroom Supervisor is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set in a safe learning environment.

The role involves covering any and all areas of the national curriculum, therefore the right candidate will be someone who has a flexible approach to deal with the varying classroom environments of different departments.

As an ideal candidate you will be interested in working in education and enjoy working with children in a sometimes challenging yet fun environment. You will be given the opportunity to work with a range of pupils in various subjects and locations.

The ideal candidate will:
• A desire and passion to work with children and within an educational environment
• Have a degree
• A valid DBS or willing to apply for one
• References to cover the past 3 years

This role would suit people with a variety of backgrounds and experience including but not limited to:
• A graduate looking to gain experience within the classroom before committing to a teaching course
• NQT looking for more experience within schools before committing to a permanent teaching position
• An experienced classroom assistant looking to step up and utilise their current classroom skills
• Experience sports coach or youth worker wanting to move in to the education sector

If you are interested either apply online or if you want more information on this please email Dominic Watts at dominic.watts@protocol-education.com or call me on 0116 216 2122
