Job description
Are you looking for experience in a secondary school before applying to undertake a Teacher Training course? Have you finished your university studies and looking for a route into the education system? Or are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for your next challenge?


Protocol Education are currently working on behalf of a Northumberland Secondary School to recruit a team of graduates to provide classroom support and supervision. Successful candidates will work on an ad hoc basis from February 2019 until July 2019. This is the perfect opportunity for individuals considering a career in education to gain first-hand experience in a school setting.

The school, based in the Amble area of Northumberland. Recently praised by OFSTED for the rapid improvements it has made in supporting pupil progress, the school requires candidates who are passionate about helping children achieve their potential. If successful you will provide 121 and small group support to pupils aged between 11-18. You will also supervise lessons in the absence of teacher.

Successful candidates will:

• Be educated to degree level
• Be available to work 3-5 days per week
• Hold an updated DBS check (or willing to obtain one)
• Have the right to work in the UK
