Job description
Are you a Graduate looking to broaden your teaching experience and gain new skills before committing to PGCE or teacher training programme?
Perhaps you are keen to work within schools in Leicestershire but do not aspire to gain teacher status?
We need Graduates to work as Cover Supervisors and Unqualified Teachers in Leicestershire and City schools covering all subject areas for day to day cover and long term positions in Secondary Schools and Colleges.
Protocol Education would like to connect and build relationships with passionate and talented graduates or professionals who have education based experience with children and young people. Experience does not have to be limited to the classroom environment; it could be from a background in sports coaching, tutoring or even within a childcare setting.
Becoming a Cover Supervisor with Protocol Eduction often leads to our candidates being invited to train for and gain qualified teacher status (QTS) via SCITT programmes or equivalent and provides them with varied and enriching experiences before they apply for teacher training courses of their own accord.

Is it for me?
  • Do you hold a degree or professional training within a specialist subject that could be transferred into a Secondary school environment?
  • Do you feel you have the skill set required to creatively and safely manage a class of 30+ secondary students all whilst effectively managing behaviour?
  • You must be a clear and confident communicator with the ability to inspire and motivate pupils
  • Be flexible in receiving work on a day to day basis (at least 3 days per week) or on a longer term basis up to 5 days per week
  • Have access to your own transport (desirable but not essential)
  • Must be reliable, efficient and trustworthy

Working for Protocol Education you can expect:

  • To work with a dedicated, honest and friendly Secondary Consultant that has a sound knowledge of what it means to be a teacher and 10 years within the Education Sector
  • Professional and organised structure with plenty of continual professional development opportunities (CPD)
  • A clear and easy to use timesheet system with weekly pay
  • Working for a well know, trusted and respected Education leader that has strong and longstanding relationships with Headteachers and key decision makers in Leciestershire and City schools.

To register your interest or for a confidential chat please ask for Harley; Senior Secondary Consultant, on 0116 216 2122 or email a copy of your CV to harley.bowcutt@protocol-education.com.
Protocol Education is proud to be a National Living Wage employer supporting schools and talented people like you on a National basis.
£250 will be paid if you are able to successfully recommend a Teacher to Protocol who then joins us, you can make as many recommendations as you like!
