Job description
Are you a University Graduate looking to gain experience within a school for this academic year to support your future route into Teaching?

We are currently working with a Secondary School located to the East of Bimringham city centre close to the border with Solihull who are looking to appoint University Graduates to support within their English, Maths and Science Departments for this coming academic year September 2017-July 2018.

Protocol Education are currently working with a large secondary school located to the East of Birmingham who are looking to appoint University Graduates with the capability of supporting their GCSE and A-Level pupils within the subjects of Maths, English and the Sciences. The roles are offered on a full time 5 days a week basis and will offer you the opportunity to gain paid work within a school fort the forthcoming academic year to support your teacher training application for 2018.

The role will see the successful applicants taking on a supporting role within this Secondary School. Duties can vary from day to day, working with a variety of different year groups and ability levels. You could be doing general classroom support, working with small groups both within and outside the classroom. You could be working with students who have been identified as requiring intervention, supporting them in achieving their target grades, with the gifted and talented or when working with GCSE or A-Level pupils often with those on key grade borderlines.

You will be required to work the full school day, starting no later than 8.30 and finishing around 4.00 unless you are supporting extra curricular activities after school.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain school experience that will support and improve any teacher training applications or help cement that Teaching is a career you want to pursue.
