Job description
Graduate Teaching Assistants/ Support Staff

Protocol Education are looking for passionate and motivated Graduates to kick start their journey into education and work as Teaching Assistants, Learning support assistants, tutors and cover supervisors at some of London's best Secondary schools. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside excellent teachers in top academies, develop skills that can be used in a future teaching career, and engage with, motivate and make a difference to students' achievement.
We work in partnership with some outstanding schools that are looking for graduates who will be able to support students in either English, Maths, Science or Humanities. The position will suit a recent graduate with a University degree.
Our staff are provided with the opportunity regular training sessions and Continued Professional Development (CPD). Due to this extensive training, previous school experience is not essential but is desirable. A number of Teaching Assistants who work for us in a long term role successfully progress to Teacher Training afterwards.

The ideal candidate will:

•Have a passion and vocational interest in education
•Be educated to degree standard or equivalent
•Hold or have the ability to apply for a DBS that is signed to the update service
•Previous experience volunteering/working in child based events or programmes is desirable but not essential
•Be reliable, punctual and confident
