Job description
GraduateTeaching Assistants Needed

We are currently looking for recent university graduates to work in some of our lovely schools across the boroughs of Hillingdon, Slough and Hounslow.

If you have recently (within the last 3 years) graduated and are looking to gain experience or further your experience working in education then we have a variety of opportunities for you. We are looking for people who have confidence and energy and a genuine passion for working with children. You will have the opportunity to support pupils with their learning, get involved in a variety of subjects and lessons. We have roles working 1:1 with students who require additional support, general teaching assistant roles supporting the teacher, group work and much more as an opportunity to build your experience ready for your future career in education.

Ideally we are looking for those people who can demonstrate a commitment to working with children, where as part of their degree or extra curricular, volunteer work or paid employment as well as having a degree which has enabled you to gain transferable skills such as Drama & Performance.

In return for your experience and enthusiasm for working with children, you will be offered competitive rates of pay as well as ongoing support and free professional development training. You will be working with a Consultant for the local area you want to work in and who will be focused on finding the right role for you.

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
