We’re working with friendly primary schools across Shropshire looking for enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to join them full-time with immediate starts available.

This is a brilliant opportunity for graduates considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, SEND support, speech and language therapy, or child development. You’ll gain hands-on classroom experience while being supported by experienced school staff who’ll help you learn the ropes.

No two days are the same, one minute you’re helping with phonics, the next you’re explaining why glitter somehow ends up everywhere.

The role:

• Full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant positions
• ASAP starts available
• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Working alongside teachers to support classroom learning
• Delivering small group interventions and 1:1 support
• Supporting children with additional needs where required
• Helping to create a positive, engaging learning environment

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has recently graduated or is completing a degree
• Has a positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Enjoys working with children and building relationships
• Is patient, adaptable, and confident communicating with others
• Has experience with children through tutoring, coaching, volunteering, youth work, camps, or similar, although this isn’t essential
• Ideally drives and has access to a vehicle due to school locations across Shropshire

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
