Job description
Graduate TA - Tower Hamlets

Location: Tower Hamlets

Pay: £65-75 (paid through PAYE, so no hidden umbrella company costs)

Do you have future aspirations to become a teacher?

Are you patient, friendly and keen to make a real difference?

Protocol are currently working with several schools in Tower Hamlets who are looking for enthusiastic graduates to join their teams. You will be assisting across the school ensuring the schools standards are being met in all areas.

No two days as a Graduate Teaching Assistant will be the same you will work with a range of different classes and help the teaching in raising attainment, dealing with behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment.

You will often have to lead small groups in maths and English to ensure adequate progress is being made.

The ideal candidate will;

•Have prior experience working with SEND students, either in the classroom or within the wider community
•Be a recent graduate (2:1 or above desirable)
•Enthusiastic and energetic with a real desire to make a difference to life of your students
•Live in Tower Hamlets or the surrounding boroughs
•Be professional at all times, adhering to the relevant safeguarding procedures at all times
•Flexible

Protocol is committed to the stringent safeguarding of the pupils in our schools; In order to apply, candidates must either hold a current DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake one through protocol. Employment is also dependent on the return of satisfactory references from previous employers.
