Job description

A wonderful Primary school in East London are looking for a hard-working and committed graduate with a real talent with working with children. The school, known for its inclusive environment is ideal for someone to develop their teaching skills before going on to teacher training or a psychology based career. You will be working with children in KS1 and KS2 helping with academic intervention and ensuring behaviour is at its best in the classroom. They are a vibrant three form primary school situated in the London Borough of Waltham Forest catering for children between the ages of three and eleven. Rated 'Good' by Ofsted in March 2017.

They are looking to interview this week with the view with appointing for a February start until July 2019.

You should be a dedicated graduate who has experience working with primary aged children and earned a second-class degree or better. Ideally, the school need a graduate who is able to bring their supportive approach to helping children across Key Stages 1 and 2; children who would benefit from working with an enthusiastic and passionate individual. You must have the skills to take on the burden of extra responsibility and contribute to the whole school. The school want to meet applicants who have an approachable and agreeable nature that draws pupils out of their shells so that they can gain more from classroom learning.

This Primary Teaching Assistant position would suit determined graduates with strong academics and a real desire to become a Primary Teacher. It is essential you can demonstrate an affinity to the teaching profession and have the character and personality to become a teacher.
