The role they are recruiting for would be in KS1 and would involve working with small groups of pupils in Maths, Reading, Writing and Phonics.

This 2 form entry Primary School in Finchley (3 minute walk from Finchley Central Station) is actively recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to begin work ASAP. Currently graded "GOOD" in their most recent Ofsted report earlier this calendar year the school has been labelled as a great place to work in, with an excellent leadership team and a staff team that are extremely supportive and encouraging this would be an ideal place for a graduate to work going into their first full time TA position. The school is looking for someone they can mould into the way they do things and offer them the best support in terms of progression and professional development.

The role will be in KS1 where the candidate will be utilised across both Year 1 & Year 2 in order to gain experience and offer support to the pupils in the best way possible. The role will involve supporting the class teacher as well as taking small intervention groups of around 5/6 pupils for Maths, Reading and Writing and Phonics. The candidate will have to be familiar with Phonics and comfortable enough to teach small groups.
