Graduate Learning Support Assistant

Protocol Education are recruiting on behalf of a Newcastle Secondary School to recruit a graduate learning support assistant. The school is located a short drive from the centre of Newcastle and requires an entry level TA to support children with SEND. The children, aged 11-16 will hold an EHCP (education, health care plan).

Previous experience working with children is not required. Ideally the school would like a candidate with an interest in teaching but will also consider  those with experience of working as a nanny, care worker, youth worker, sports coach or any other previous experience that you think would have transferable skills would be highly recommended to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
