Protocol Education is seeking compassionate English graduates to support pupils in a specialist SEND school in Gateshead. Working with students who require additional support, you'll play a vital role in helping them develop confidence, communication skills and independence.

Your Responsibilities

• Supporting learning across the classroom.
• Delivering reading and literacy interventions.
• Providing personalised support for pupils with SEND.
• Encouraging communication and engagement.
• Supporting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.
• Working collaboratively with experienced education professionals.

Ideal Candidate

• English graduate.
• Passionate about inclusive education.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Patient, adaptable and enthusiastic.
• Interested in a future career in education or SEND.

Full-time | September Start | Term-Time Only | Long-Term Position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
