GRADUATE - Secondary Teaching Assistant

We need someone who can work well within a SEN team, has great communication skills, can work independently 1-1 with students . You also must hold a degree to successfully support up to GCSE Level and have some experience in an Education Setting or with Special educational needs children.

The role:

To support the Class Teachers in delivering agreed learning activities to ensure each individual child meets their discrete learning needs.
To carry out all duties, as directed by the class teachers to maximise learning opportunities for all children and young people
To support the development of communication skills by implementing communication goals in collaboration with Education, Multi-disciplinary team
To assist with target setting, record keeping and assessment in classes


You must:

Be educated to degree standard or equivalent
Previous experience of supporting children within any setting 11-16yrs
Passionate about supporting SEN students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
