Protocol Education are working on behalf of an Alnwick School to recruit a team of graduates to provide support to pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs in their day to day learning and routines. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates of all disciplines to build experience prior to applying or partaking in a SCITT or PGCE. If successful you will work alongside the class teachers to support pupils aged between 11-18 in their learning. You will be responsible for feeding back pupil progress to teachers as well as supporting the assessment and recording of pupil attainment.

This OFSTED graded Good School is in easy reach of the A19 and the surrounding areas of Northumberland, including Berwick, Bedlington, Ashington and Amble. Successful candidates will be required to work on an ad-hoc basis, usually between 3-5 days a week.

Highlights of this role include:
• Earning while learning up to £70 per day (dependent on work undertaken).
• The ability to network in a local school
• A dedicated consultant to offer support throughout the placement

Successful candidates will:

• Be educated to degree level
• Be available to work 3-5 days per week
• Hold an updated DBS check (or willing to obtain one)
• Have the right to work in the UK

At Protocol we keep safeguarding and safer recruitment at the forefront of all of our efforts. All of our roles are subject to stringent checks and procedures. To apply for this role you will need to provide documentation proving you are eligible to work in the UK. You will also need to provide or apply for an enhanced DBS certificate.

If you are interested in applying, please send your CV in the strictest confidence to rebecca.smith@protocol-education.com or phone 0191 2797270 to discuss this fantastic opportunity in more detail
