 We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals who are interested in a career in teaching. We work with schools across Sunderland to support them with the recruitment of graduate teaching assistants and cover supervisors. We are able to help you gain the experience needed for a successful PGCE/ SCITT/ ITT training course.

As a teaching assistant you will work 121 or in small groups with a range of special educational needs. You may be working in SEND school or behaviour provision or in a mainstream secondary school. It will give you a wealth of experience observing a range of different teaching styles throughout the curriculum , as well as first hand experience supporting children with SEN.

As a cover supervisor you will deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher. You will supervise classes of up to 32 in mainstream  secondary schools. This will give you the opportunity to build up your classroom management skills before  your PGCE/SCITT.

This year alone has seen a large number of  our graduates be accepted on either PGCE courses or, Schools direct programs that will enable them to be a fully qualified teacher next year. So why not you?

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
