We are currently recruiting a full-time Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant to work within supportive and inclusive SEN schools across Gateshead. This is an excellent opportunity for Psychology graduates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs while gaining practical experience for future postgraduate study or teacher training.
You will work closely with pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and communication difficulties. Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you'll develop valuable skills in behaviour support, emotional regulation and personalised learning strategies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
