Graduate Teaching Assistant Opportunities

Are you a recent graduate who is looking to expand their knowledge and skills in the Education sector?

Are you a highly motivated role model who can engage children in activities and think outside the box to make learning fun?

Then this may be the opportunity for you;

An Ofsted rated 'Good' Academy School in Hillingdon is looking to employ two passionate and motivated Graduates to join their team of Teaching Assistant Support Staff.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with students in Key Stage 1 and 2; to learn from experienced Teachers and senior staff, to develop skills that can be used in a future teaching career; and to engage with, motivate and make a major positive difference to student’s achievement and future prospects.

The role with involve;

- managing behaviour

- supporting special needs pupils

- marking work

- differentiating work

- supervising play

- preparing class materials and resources

You will shadow senior teachers and learn about;

- lesson planning and the curriculum

- classroom management

- safeguarding and child protection

- special needs

You must be a positive presence in the classroom, able to encourage students in their academics and be a strong role model.

Experience working with young people in different capacities would be desirable, however all graduates will be considered.

This is a long term position based in Hillingdon, West London and is a fantastic step on the ladder to a successful career in Schools!
