This is a hands-on role where you’ll support children who need extra understanding, patience, and consistency. It’s challenging at times, but incredibly rewarding.

Your role

  • Supporting pupils with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups
  • Helping pupils regulate emotions and engage with learning
  • Supporting behaviour in a calm and structured way
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff

What we’re looking for

  • A graduate with an interest in SEND or child development
  • A calm, empathetic, and patient personality
  • Someone who can build trust and strong relationships
  • Resilience and a willingness to learn

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
