Job description
I am currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to join primary schools across Reading as Learning Support Assistants for fixed term 1 year contracts.

This type of role will suit someone with enthusiasm and drive who wants to gain valuable experience working with children whether it be to pursue a career in teaching or to gain the hands on experience to compliment your degree to follow another path.

Ideally you will have a 2:1 degree or above and demonstrable experience of your passion for working with young people, whether it be as part of your course or extra curricular experience it will all be considered.

Depending on your experience and degree subject there are a range of different positions within the school that might suit you, for example as a Psychology graduate you might have specialist knowledge and understanding for working with children who have barriers to learning and be in an ideal position to be able to support and nurture a child working on a 1:1 basis.

If you have a degree in any of the core curriculum subjects such as Maths, English and Science you could be supporting with SATs booster lessons ensuring that the children are given the best chance to engage and connect with these subjects in a fun and engaging way.
