Graduate Learning Support Assistant – Psychology Graduates Wanted – Gateshead

Protocol Education is working with a specialist SEND school in Gateshead seeking a Psychology Graduate to join their support team. This role will involve working with pupils who require additional academic, emotional and behavioural support.

You'll gain first-hand experience of SEND education while working closely with experienced professionals.

Daily duties

  • Supporting learning in the classroom
  • Delivering small-group interventions
  • Assisting pupils with emotional regulation
  • Encouraging confidence and independence
  • Building positive relationships with learners
  • Supporting teachers with lesson delivery

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
