Schools need graduates who may have tutoring experience. If your degree is in Maths you will have a huge advantage as there is a shortage right now for Maths tutors you will be placed in a school immediately. English and Science will also be a great advantage, but all other graduates are encouraged to apply. Our partnership schools are needing specialists to tutor catch-up groups now.

Our schools look to employ graduates wishing to work in education, we have future teachers being employed by our schools who are often put through the school's teacher training schemes! By working with us you can work in different school environments to really get a feel for the right school for you, this is the perfect gateway into working in schools and deciding if this is the right career path for you. Graduates thrive from working as Teaching Assistants, Intervention Specialists and Cover Supervisors as it looks amazing on teacher training applications. You get all the experience in schools you need before your training.

As a Cover Supervisor you can cover your specialised subject as well as help with other departments. Struggling to decide which subject to teach? You can cover a range of subjects you would often be the sole adult in the classroom, taking the class register and then helping the students with their set lesson. Strong and confident personalities are a must as you are working with students up to GCSE.

You could be covering set lessons, helping other teachers, running small group interventions and helping with extra-curricular clubs.

You Must:
•Be able to provide two professional references (from recent work or studies)
•Have an enhanced DBS on the update service - or be willing to get one (£40)
•Have a strong character to have good classroom management skills
•Have a clear criminal record
•Be able to build rapport within a school team
•Follow school policies and safe-guarding practise
•Be free for at least 3 days a week
•Hold a specialised subject degree or equivalent
•Have Overseas Police Checks if lived abroad in one country for 6 months or longer (within the last 5 years)
