Job description
A secondary school in West Essex are urgently seeking to recruit a Geography teacher to start as soon as possible.

The school itself is well resourced and has the latest computer, tablet and WIFI technology available to enhance learning opportunities. The school also prides itself in allowing students to take part in the decision making that drives the school and encourages pupils’ to have their say in what the school should provide for them.

The role will initially begin as long term supply but may have the potential of going permanent in the future

The successful candidate will have previous experience of teaching Geography up to A-level.

The successful candidate will need to be able to teach Geography across the year groups. You will have a proven track record of delivering good to outstanding lessons. You must be creative, ambitious, and willing to contribute and play an active role in raising standards across the school.

To be considered for this role, you must hold QTS and be able to provide references covering the last 2 years. Overseas trained teachers are more than welcome to apply as long as you can demonstrate a working knowledge of the UK curriculum.
