As a Geography Teacher, you'll deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that develop students' understanding of the world around them, encouraging curiosity about people, places and the environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking
Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Encouraging students to develop their geographical knowledge, fieldwork and analytical skills
Supporting enrichment activities and educational visits where appropriate
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Upholding safeguarding procedures and school expectations at all times
✅ UK QTS or be currently completing teacher training
✅ Strong subject knowledge in Geography
✅ Excellent communication and classroom management skills
✅ A professional, proactive and flexible approach
✅ A genuine passion for education and inspiring young people
