The Role

As a Geography Teacher, you'll deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that develop students' understanding of the world around them, encouraging curiosity about people, places and the environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking

• Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress

• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Encouraging students to develop their geographical knowledge, fieldwork and analytical skills

• Supporting enrichment activities and educational visits where appropriate

• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement

• Upholding safeguarding procedures and school expectations at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

✅ UK QTS or be currently completing teacher training

✅ Strong subject knowledge in Geography

✅ Excellent communication and classroom management skills

✅ A professional, proactive and flexible approach

✅ A genuine passion for education and inspiring young people

✅ ECTs and experienced teachers are warmly encouraged to apply
