We’re working with secondary schools across Shropshire looking for passionate Geography Teachers to join their teams immediately and for long-term roles starting in September.

These schools are looking for teachers who can make Geography engaging, relevant, and thought-provoking, helping students understand the world around them while building confidence in the classroom.

What you’ll be doing:

• Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging and accessible lessons
• Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their potential
• Bringing topics like climate change, ecosystems, and global development to life
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Marking, assessment, and contributing to departmental planning

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Hold UK QTS or are completing your teacher training
• Are an experienced Geography Teacher or an ECT ready to get started
• Can deliver engaging lessons that spark curiosity and discussion
• Bring strong classroom management and a positive attitude
• Want to work in supportive schools where staff wellbeing matters
• Are passionate about helping young people understand the wider world

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
