Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Birmingham

Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking department within a school that values high-quality teaching and learning.
The Role:
Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
Contribute to the wider school community and departmental initiatives
Maintain high standards of behaviour management and classroom practice
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Have experience teaching Geography at secondary level
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
Be confident managing a classroom and promoting positive behaviour
Be committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress
Work well as part of a collaborative department and wider staff team
