Protocol Education are working clossely with this school based in the heart of the London borough of Sutton, who are seeking to appoint a full time Geography Teacher (or Head of Geography if suitablly qualified).

The school is a mixed school with sixth from who are achieving excellent results and is perfectly located close to the train station, bus stops and major roads.

The desired geography teacher will be expected to maximise student’s performance whilst implementing necessary teaching techniques to support students who require extra help. Working solely within the humanities department you can be expect an abundance of support from the current faculty.

The successful candidate will:
• Be an experienced Geography and Citizenship teacher with great subject knowledge
• Be a qualified teacher with QTS
• Have experience of teaching Geography and Citizenship in a previous role
• Have an updated CV
• Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high
• Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example
• Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies
• Hold a valid and current DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
