Keynsham £170 - 190 per day + PAYE & £50 for Teacher Referral Part Time Teaching 311023877 Posted 3 weeks ago
Protocol Education is partnering with a primary school in BS31 to recruit a caring, dependable and fully qualified Year 2 Teacher, ready to step in after half-term.
We’re looking for someone who understands how important the transition into KS2 is a big step, and you’ll be someone who can guide pupils through it with calm confidence, consistency and warmth. You’ll recognise the balance between raising expectations and providing reassurance as children grow in independence.
With the role starting after half-term, now is a great time to secure your next opportunity. We focus on matching you with a placement that aligns with your experience, teaching style and career goals. It’s about making sure you are the right fit for the school, and the school is a right fit for you.
In your role, you’ll deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the Year 2 curriculum, building strong foundations in reading fluency, writing stamina and mathematical reasoning. You’ll create a purposeful, positive classroom environment where curiosity is encouraged and resilience is developed. From whole class teaching to targeted support, you’ll help pupils navigate new routines, higher expectations and greater responsibility with confidence.
You’ll join a ‘good’ rated Ofsted school where collaboration matters, leadership is supportive and staff wellbeing is recognised; an environment where your professional judgement is respected and progress, both academic and personal, is celebrated.
If you’re ready for a fresh start after half-term and want to make a meaningful impact in Year 3, this could be the perfect next step.
