Job description
A lovely primary school located in the London Borough of Bent (rated as 'GOOD' by Ofsted) is on a hunt for an experienced lower KS2 teacher.

The successful applicant will be in charge of preparation, planning and assessment of Year 3 or Year 4 class. This is a maternity cover which will start in September 2018 and continue until December 2018.

This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic, dynamic young team at a school of high working ethos and very well-behaved children. Our client is looking for a candidate with a vast teaching experience, who has an excellent work-ethic, can-do' attitude and ability to work within the minimum of supervision. The school is seeking a teacher who is willing to commit to the role, must have prior experience of teaching lower KS2.

You will be adaptable and be able to differentiate the curriculum in order to effectively deliver lessons for Year 3 and Year 4 at the same time and differentiate activities depending on the needs of individual children. You will excel in your time management and organization skills and you will be able to balance teaching with additional administrative duties which will involve preparing regular reports. On top of this, you will have an inspiring and warm personality which will create and engaging and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom.

Essential requirements:
- A Qualified Teacher Status (either a PGCE or Cert Ed.)
- A minimum of 3 years UK teaching experience.
- Knowledge of KS2 National Curriculum and the ability to plan differentiated work.
- A valid DBS or willing to undertake one.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Excellent teaching references
- Strong behaviour management skills.

Additionally, the candidates must be available for interviews immediately, as the school would like to appoint as soon as possible.
