Job description
Protocol Education is currently looking for inspiring and ambitious Teaching Assistants for our lovely school in Kingsbury

This is a full-time long term position which starts in September 2018 and will continue until July 2019.

Our client is ideally looking for a person who aspires to become a primary teacher in the future, has previous experience in working in EYFS or KS1 at primary school setting and has warm, enthusiastic and bubbly personality. Due to the large number of EAL, the suitable candidate will also have track of previous work in these areas. The successful candidate should be able to establish a good rapport with the students they are supporting, as well as regularly liaise with the class teacher, SENCO and parents to update them on the progress of the students.

Essential requirements:
- An undergraduate degree (at least 2:2)
- A minimum of 6 months in a classroom environment in the UK
- Good knowledge of EYFS/KS1 British National Curriculym
- Experience working with children with SEN and/or EAL
- The ability to adapt and prepare resources to suit the needs of the child
- Strong behaviour management
- A UK DBS or willing to undertake one
- 2 excellent references

You should also be highly professional in every aspect, be self-motivated and able to work with the minimum of supervision. On top of that you must be available immediately as the school would like to recruit as soon as possible. A Teaching Assistant qualification is not essential but will be an advantage.
