Job description
A 'good' Church of England school in Bath (BA1) is looking for a full time teaching assistant to join their supportive school. The school has a fantastic caring and friendly ethos which creates a family feel to its environment. The school acts as a heart of the community which parents really enjoyed and as a result they are proud to place their children there. The current teachers have been described as hardworking and passionate, in addition they create safe learning environment for the children who attend this school, as described by parents.

The school are looking for a teaching asssitant to join their nurturing school and continue to provide a stimulating environment for learning, where children grow and thrive in a supportive atmosphere of high expectations. They have a broad curriculum and they are hoping that the right person will be able to adapt to a variety of roles and be flexible to support groups of children in supporting their learning, including phonics. The school have a growth mindset philisophy and they aim to increase children's confidence and independence to be the best that they can be.

The full time role would be working 8.30-3.30 five days a week in a reception/year one class. They are also looking for daily supply as well as local schools in the area.

What's next?
All candidates will undertake a thorough clearing process in line with Ofsted requirements and of course will be willing to undertake a DBS at the cost of £44 unless you already have a DBS on the update service.
