An ‘Outstanding’ (by Ofsted) primary school in the London Borough of Brent, which encourages confident and independent learners to achieve their full creative potential, currently wishes to recruit an experienced (qualified to at least NVQ3) Learning Support Assistant to support their SEN team.
This is a long term role starting in September 2016 and continuing for the rest of the academic year. The role involves supporting students with a variety of SEN needs, which specifically includes Speech Language and Communications Needs (SLCN) and Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The successful candidate will need to be trained and experienced in supporting young children with special educational needs (preferably ASD, ADHD, SEMH). You should have a demonstrable track record of relevant skills and experience gained within an SEN setting either in a mainstream or specialist organisation, as well as the success gained in your professional career to date.
You should be highly professional in every aspect, self-motivated and able to work with the minimum of supervision. On top of that the school is looking for an individual with a friendly, honest, energetic and enthusiastic personality, who possesses a real passion for learning and meeting the individual needs of the students, and keeps aiming at self-development.
If you have the relevant skills and experiences and have a very real and genuine interest and passion for this field then please feel free to call Kate on 02083717900 or e-mail kdovan@protoco-education.com.
In return we offer you:
• Competitive rates of pay
• Social nights out with the rest of Protocol staff
• £50 Referral Bonus for each friend/colleague you refer to us.
