Job description
An experienced Nursery Room Leader is required for a permanent contract at a lovely independent school in the London Borough of Brent.

This is a full-time role, 51 weeks a year with two different shifts: 8-5 adnd 9-6. The role starts after Christmas 2019 and will continue for at least a year.

As Nursery Nurse you will cater for children aged between 3-4 years and ensure that they develop and learn in a safe and supportive environment. You will have a warm and positive approach, lots of creative ideas and a willingness to work as part of a team. You will be in charge of preparing, planning and delivering activities which meet standards of the British EYFS National Curriculum. The school are looking for an outstanding Early Years practitioner who has warm and kind nature and easily builds rapport with children, their parents and fellow team members.

On top of this, you will be the first one in charge and overlook the work of the rest of the team. You will be well-organized, be able to think outside the box and make sure that all safeguarding policies are being followed. You will run regular reports and journals; you will report directly to the Headteacher and liasise with external parties when necessary.

The suitable candidate MUST:
- Have experience in working in a Nursery or Early years setting as a Nursery Manager or a Nursery Room Leader
- Have at least CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education or/and BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development or/and NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development
- Have a strong understanding of the Britih National Early Years curriculum
- Be committed to the role and all duties involved
- Be enthusiastic and passionate about working with children
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Posses valid references, proof of address and DBS/police checks.
