Job description
Experienced Nursery Manager required for a permanent contract at a lovely private school in the London Borough of Brent.

This is a full-time role with two different shifts: 8-5 and 9-6. The contract starts immediately and the school is looking for someone who is willing to commit for at least 2 years.

Responsibilities:
- You will be in charge of a small team of Nursery Assistants and supervise their work. Together you will provide an enabling environment in which all children can feel safe, develop, learn and aim to achieve their full potential.
- You will be in charge of preparing, planning and delivering activities which meet standards of the British EYFS National Curriculum. The school are looking for an outstanding Early Years practitioner who has warm and kind nature and easily builds rapport with children, their parents and fellow team members.
- You will promote high standards within the nursery setting and ensure that the general practice and provisions meet the requirements of the EYFS Curriculum.
- You will cater for children aged between 0-4 years and ensure that they develop and learn in a safe and supportive environment. The school is looking for someone with a warm and positive approach, lots of creative ideas and a willingness to work as part of a team.
- You will be well-organized and be able to think outside the box.

The suitable candidate MUST:
- Have experience in working in a Nursery or Early years setting as a Nursery Manager
- Have CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education or/and BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development or/and NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development
- Have a strong understanding of the Early Years curriculum
- Be committed to the role and all duties involved
- Be enthusiastic and passionate about working with children
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Posses valid references, proof of address and DBS/police checks.

The school offers:
• Salary - £26-30,000
• Bonus - £1,500 per annum linked to Performance Management
• Additional bonus also available
• Holidays: - 4 weeks per annum to start
• Year on Year pay increments: A 5% pay increment dependent on Performance Management
