Job description
Protocol Education is currently seeking passionate graduates to support children who have English as an additional language.

We are working with primary schools in the London Borough of Brent where the majority of pupils have EAL. Acquisition of English and Maths is paramount and teaching assistants are expected to help the teachers to lead pupils through the most important stages of development.

Our clients look for ambitious and committed graduates who possess skills, qualities and experience that will help pupils achieve their full academic potential.

Experience in a school setting is not necessary, but we’re looking for the following:

** at least B in Maths & English A Levels

** strong passion for education

** outgoing and intelligent personality

** ability to take own initiative

** good teamwork skills.

Knowledge of any language is not necessary but would be an asset.

TEFL or CELTA or any other similar qualification is not essential, but would be desirable.

If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
