Job description

Full Time KS2 Teacher - Harrow

Protocol Education are looking to appoint a Key Stage 2 teacher for an Outstanding School in the London Borough of Harrow.

About the School:

The school is very successful and well supported by the parents/carers and by the huge commitment of all the staff, enabling their children to receive the best possible start to their education.

The school received Outstanding on their last Ofsted Inspection, which identified them as an outstanding school, recognising the high quality of care and support from all staff, the high expectations and the quality of teaching that enables pupils to make outstanding progress. Their children consistently achieve above the Harrow and National average in Reading, Writing and Mathematics.

The school's aim is to develop their children's confidence and have high expectations in terms of achievement, progress and behaviour. They have a lot of extra curricular activities including sport, music, drama, modern languages to help enrich the opportunities for learning.

About the role:

This is a maternity cover post to start in January 2019. The school is looking for someone who has teaching experience with KS2 students, but are willing to consider NQT's too .

The ideal candidate will:

-Plan, prepare and deliver the curriculum
-Create a stimulating and safe learning environment
-Establish and maintain a purposeful working atmosphere
-Assess and record the progress of pupils' learning
-Encourage children in developing self-esteem and respect for others
-Deploy a wide range of effective behaviour management strategies, successfully
-Have a QTS or equivalent and experience teaching in a primary setting
