French Teaching Assistant Needed

Do you have all the qualities of a Teaching Assistant with the added skills of speaking French then we need you???

As a French Teaching Assistant you will have the responsibility of advancing your basic teaching skills with a french student. This role involves supporting the class teacher in the regular planning and preparation of lessons as well as taking one to one sessions for certain students which will provide you with an excellent foundation for a career in teaching.

Person Specification....
The successful applicant will be a passionate native French speaking graduate who has earned a second class degree or better and has advanced communication skills that ensure the smooth running of lessons and classroom activities. A good understanding of how to work with children based on experience gained from a similar role would really set you apart from the rest but the school are more than happy to consider graduates who have no prior experience. You must however have the ability to quickly develop the new skills needed to become an excellent teacher in the future. You should possess a genuine appreciation for education and the skills to ensure your pupils are equally passionate about learning.
