Protocol Education are seeking to appoint a Food Technology Teacher who will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, and planning lessons.

As a Food Technology Teacher, you must be passionate about the role and must be able to teach across all Key stages.

The ability to teach another or variety of Technology subjects such as Textiles at KS3/4 would be an advantage but not essential.

This post is an ideal opportunity for an experienced candidate or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join an established team who can provide significant support at all stages of career development.

The class sizes are small, so you are able to create a nurturing learning environment designed around each individual’s needs, spending quality time with each pupil.

Throughout the department, the school may offer extra-curricular clubs, trips and visits from industry specialists.

 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the English National Curriculum
  • Administration and good organisational skills
  • Support the use of ICT equipment
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
