We’re recruiting a creative and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Hartlepool. From introducing Year 7 students to the basics of baking to supporting GCSE pupils in refining their practical skills, you’ll play a key role in developing confidence, creativity, and lifelong skills in the kitchen.

The role includes:

• Delivering engaging Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Encouraging creativity while building strong practical skills
• Working in a well-resourced food technology department
• Collaborating with a supportive and experienced team

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds UK QTS (PGCE applicants encouraged)
• Has experience teaching in a secondary school setting
• Can confidently deliver GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition
• Brings energy, organisation, and strong classroom management
